Hi! My name is Grace West, but everyone calls me “Cookie”. When I was 10 years old I was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma. After being in treatment for 3 years I was declared Cancer-Free! After being cancer-free for over 4 years, I relapsed and was re-diagnosed with Stage 4, High Risk Neuroblastoma. I am now 17 and was in the middle of my Junior year of high school when I relapsed. My life has been put on pause while I go back to fight once again. I am forever grateful for the huge support of Team Cookie, my “Crumblers”, helping me to crumble my cancer once again and always reminding me that I am never fighting alone. I’ve told myself since I was first diagnosed at age 10 that “You have no choice but to be Strong but you can choose to be Happy and Positive.” I feel that can be applied to a lot of things. Especially with all that everyone is facing today, we must remind ourselves to stay Strong, Happy, Positive, and to keep moving forward -we will get through this together! Thank you so much for all the love and support for my family and I, it truly means the world and more to me.
Stay Strong. Happy. Positive.
